My name is Gapiris Thomas, I was born and grew up in beautiful Thessaloniki and I have studied film and photography.

From a very young age, I had an inquiring mind and artistic nature as well. I was constantly searching for ways to express myself through art, painting, hand-made constructions.

Since I was a kid, I used to see things in a different way, more critically. My inner need was to absorb the surrounding world and transfer it into creations of my imagination. From my early childhood, an inseparable connection between matter and me, made me transform it into things and experience into memory.

My vision is to convey that way of thinking to everyone around me.

And at the point where vision ends, creation begins.

In 2020 I decided to make my dream come true and establish the Becubeproject with my team. It is a company whose philosophy is based exclusively on the spiritual love and passion of its creators, the respect to the magic of nature and every single material that it offers to us.

Our creations, artworks, furniture and decorations made of natural materials are intended to ameliorate people’s relationship with the environment and help in the process of understanding it. Each of our pieces has its own different and special story.
